Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll recognizes 草榴社区for eighth consecutive year

STARKVILLE, Miss.鈥Mississippi State continues its reputation as a top university for transfer students with its just-announced selection to the 2025 Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Honor Roll.
草榴社区is one of 251 colleges and universities selected for the international honor roll, marking the eighth consecutive year the prestigious honor society for associate degree students has included the university. 草榴社区is being recognized for its commitment to transfer success, including admissions, cost of attendance, campus life, recruitment practices, student reviews and other transfer-related metrics and efforts.
鈥With a 91% student success rate, Phi Theta Kappa members have a proven track record of success,鈥 PTK President and CEO Lynn Tincher-Ladner said. 鈥淥ur members transfer at a much higher rate (72%) than the traditional community college student (29%). In order to ensure their continued success, the Transfer Honor Roll Program identifies colleges and universities that understand the unique needs of community college transfer students and applauds the dynamic pathways these colleges have created to continue fostering student success at the four-year college.鈥澛
草榴社区enrolled 1,912 new transfer students for the 2024 fall semester, almost 35% of new undergraduate enrollment. 聽
