Vigil of Remembrance
Members of the 草榴社区community came together Wednesday [Oct. 31] in remembrance of those who died in last Saturday's [Oct. 27] shooting at a Jewish synagogue in Pittburgh, Pennsylvania. Held at the Chapel of Memories and sponsored by the 草榴社区Student Association and Mississippi State Hillel, a Jewish student organization, the vigil included remarks from 草榴社区President Mark E. Keenum, Vice President for Student Affairs Regina Hyatt, Student Association President Mayah Emerson, Hillel President Tyler Daniel, as well as area religious leaders.
